At the end of May 2017, we were probably the only two people trekking across the remote Hornstrandir peninsula, in Iceland, uninhabited since 1948. Our purpose was to reach Hornbjarg, the area with the greatest concentration of arctic foxes in Iceland. But things were going to get complicated, a lot.
